Dr. April Elliott is a Paediatrician and Adolescent Medicine Specialist at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Paediatrics, University of Calgary. She was one of Calgary’s Top 40 under 40 in 2006 and in 2011 she was a recipient of an Alberta Medical Association Medal for Distinguished Service. She received this award in recognition of her contributions to the development of services for youth at risk, and was the founder of Calgary Adolescent Treatment Services (CATS), a clinic that serves youth experiencing homelessness.
She achieved her Executive Coaching Certification in 2016 from the University of Berkeley, California and incorporates these concepts into her clinical service, as well as the leadership and advocacy in Adolescent Health and Physician Wellness.
With Dr. Monique Jericho, she has developed experiential leadership workshops for medical professionals that facilitate successful encounters with emotionally challenging situations.
